This May, embrace the beauty of Spring as the sun shines, wildflowers bloom, and apple and pear blossoms awaken. Our Bavarian Village invites you to delight in the joy of the season. Celebrate the arrival of Spring the German way with vibrant Maifest events throughout the month, brought to you by the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce.

Festival Schedule:

• May 3-4 | Music of the Alps - Enjoy the enchanting melodies of traditional Alpine instruments and yodeling all weekend long.
  May 9-11 | Traditional Maifest Activities - Festzug (Grand March) on May 11th at 12 pm, Live music & traditional German dancing all weekend along Front Street, downtown.
  May 11 | Mai BlumenLauf (May Flower Run) 5k run on Sunday, May 11th at 8 am.
  May 15-18 | Leavenworth Spring Birdfest - Rejoice in the return of migratory birds amidst the flourishing wildflowers.
• May 17-18 | Live Chainsaw Carving - Alternating live music and live chainsaw carving both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-4 pm, downtown.
• May 24-24 | Leavenworth International Alphorn Festival - Special Alphorn recitals all weekend, downtown at the Front Street Park Pavilion.
